International visitors flank to TCA to establish collaboration |

 TCA represented by Dr. Max P. Guillermo signed a MOA with the IOWA State University represented by Dr. Eldon Uhlenhopp on Feb. 21, 2010 at the Continuing Education Center. Other members of the visiting team include Dr. Cirilo Reyes, Dr. Ronaldo Magtoto, Dr. George Beran, Mrs. Janice Beran, and Mrs. Fe Reyes. The partnership include faculty and student exchange programs in the field of veterinary medicine. The conduct of collaborative research and extension projects along this area will also push through with the contract signed by both parties.  The MACHAV-CINADCO Philippine-Israel Agricultural Training included TCA in their Professional Mission by visiting the College on Feb. 24, 2010. The team (Ms. Iris Shavit, Mr. Shmuel Livne, Mr. Shaike Stern and Mr. Yaniv Revach) discussed their prospects in establishing TCA as the center of PICAT in the Province of Tarlac. Provincial government employees headed by Gov. Victor Yap also attended the consultative meeting.  The TCA Executive Council had a meeting last Feb. 19, 2010 with the professors (Dr. Lawrence M. Liao and Dr. Teruo Maeda) from the Hiroshima University in Japan for a possible partnership between the two institutions to work together towards promoting mutual academic interests in the bioresource sciences. |
